Nikon D90

After using Nikon D40 for about 20 months. After doing some research thoroughly. After find up that D90 is a step leap in term of technologies in which it can offer compared with D40. After my heart itchy to try mid-range DSLR. Finally today i went with 2 friends in a journey to buy this gadget.
I can say we a bit lucky at the end of the day because of eventually we able to grab the items that we are looking for, eventhough we takes a whole day to seek D90 in many camera shops around. Most of the shops offer slight margin of price difference, with a few free gift e.g: sd cards, bag, tripod, cleankit etc. But what make it all day is the stock of D90 is not available.
A friend of mine, who also the one who very very keen to buy D90 on time call his friend, who is also a photography enthusiast, looking for assistant of his friend who working in Cathay Photo in Marina Square and seek for availability of the item. (i know you guys confused with the friend hierarchy. actually is like this : my friend who to buy D90 -> his friend who loves photography -> his photography friend's friend who working in Cathay Photo ;) ) luckily the item still available. And of course he need to prepare 3 stocks for us since all of us want to buy "gasp".
i bought mine which without any extra stuff with the cost SGD1680.
i'm not sure if im a bit sentiment but i do feel that D40 still a powerhorse in term of easy usability. i don't know, maybe i'm too new with a mid-range DSLR. Well, at least i'll get more companion during photo session later. ;)

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Nice movie and pack of CGI. Lot of robots but i wonder why Autobots doesn't have bigger robots compare with Decepticons. Jetfire is awesome especially when combine with Optimus Prime. I just can't wait to see what will happen on the next sequel.

Drag Me To Hell

Its been a while i don't see a quality horror movie. This one definitely one of my favorite. The plot is a typical Raimi style which consist of the element of comedy while confront with the evil. I just wish the can remake the Evil Dead movie and turn it into more GCI content. Sure it would be more interesting.
Indeed this one is a nice movie to be watched hands down (for me)...

Terminator Salvation

Salvation, i guess Marcus Wright is the one who save the mankind. Or else John Connor would dead by now...
Watch it today after office hour, This is the 1st of the new trilogy... the rest of the movie release date are not known...
In short, Marcus Wright make this movie interesting. James Cameron will not disappoint with his choice to let Sam Worthington to be a part of this trilogy.

HTC Touch Diamond 2

Last friday went online to register new line from Singtel due to this smart phone sgd100 off if buy it online. with 2 years contract.
Yesterday i receive the phone. An excited looking phone i ever owned. But talking about the WinMo is a bit letdown. At least TouchFLO 3D make up the interface look.
This phone is fingerprint magnetic, which is very very annoying. But the hardware spec and the look compensate the flaw.

Angels & Demons | Star Trek

Last Thursday went to watch this movie. Rumors said that this movie is better that Da Vinci Code, which i beg to differ. This one and DVC have their own strength in storyline. A 1st timer will be confused with the movie. A few revision is advisable in order to get a whole picture of the story.

In the other hand, today before waiting for my ex-colleague wedding dinner tonight, i went to watch Star Trek. Even though im not a big fan of the movie compare with Star Wars series. This one getting me an interest to pursue to watch their rest series. ;)
ps: it took me a while to figure out Nero is Eric Bana ;p

X-Men Origins Wolverine

Watched this one while staying in JB prior going back to hometown... super spin-off till i do not know when wolverine and sabretooth were siblings. but nevertheless the storyline is interesting.
Next day back to hometown...
